Feedback Loop Between Wellness And Society
This course explores wellness and its impact on the world around us. Wellness influences society, and society influences wellness, creating a feedback loop between them. You will critically analyze a specific issue or event in wellness and how it impacts individuals and society using the four general education lenses: history, humanities, natural and applied sciences, and social science. From this enhanced understanding, you will be equipped to draw connections between wellness, self, and engagement with your community. You will demonstrate your ability to think critically, investigate, and communicate clearly. These skills are often necessary to achieve personal and professional goals across many disciplines.

Feedback Loop Between Wellness And Society
With the current trend of people wanting to improve their health, there is a growing demand for wellness services.
The feedback loop between wellness and society is a two-way street. Society impacts how people live their lives, and people in turn impact their health and well-being through their behaviors. Living a healthy lifestyle is important not just for our own health, but also for the well-being of the entire community.
One way that society impacts our health is by setting healthy standards. This can be done in a number of ways, such as by recommending specific diets or exercise regimes, or through government policies that promote healthy behaviors. In some cases, these standards are actively enforced, such as with laws mandating minimum levels of physical activity.
At the individual level, it’s important to maintain a positive attitude towards our health. This means avoiding negative self-talk and viewing our health problems as challenges to be overcome. We can also help promote good health by modeling healthy behaviors ourselves. For example, if we eat healthy foods and exercise regularly, our children are more likely to adopt these habits later on in life.
In addition to setting standards and promoting good health, society can also harm our health through its behavior. For example, smoking cigarettes has been linked with several types of cancer, and excessive drinking can lead to liver disease
The first feedback loop occurs when people learn about and use wellness services. When people are aware of the benefits of using these services, they are more likely to use them. This increases the number of people who are healthy and helps to create a positive feedback loop. In turn, this increases awareness and use of wellness services, which creates even more benefits.
The second feedback loop occurs when people become healthier because they are using wellness services. When people are healthier, they are able to enjoy life more fully. This in turn creates a positive feedback loop that leads to even greater improvements in health.
As people become healthier and happier, they are more likely to continue using wellness services. This cycle can continue indefinitely as long as there is a demand for wellness services and healthy individuals willing to use them.
