Week 3 Discussion 2: Development Philosophies
Socio-technical analysis can be seen as a touchy-feely approach concerned with the quality of people’s working lives, whereas agile methods are typified by some as an excuse for the nerds to just cut code. Discuss the validity of these characterizations and the merits (or otherwise) of the two system analysis/development philosophies. Are there different types of system where either of these approaches would be more appropriate?
