Week 1 Discussion 2: Retail e-Commerce

Retail e-Commerce has taken a considerable market share in areas such as books and music but its inroad into the grocery market has been much less dramatic. Assess the advan- tages and disadvantages of online shopping for groceries. Are there consumer categories where e-Grocery shopping is more / less advantageous / convenient? If you were the manager of a super- market chain that did not have an e-Shop, how would you develop an e-Commerce strategy in the current competitive environment?
