The purpose of this memorandum is to make you aware of the impact of global logistics on diverse aspects of the organization. Global logistics can be defined as the art of managing products’ movement from the organization that makes them the final consumers. Efficient global logistics ensure that products delivered to clients meet quality specifications and delivered on a timely basis. Global logistics affects an entire organization. However, three key areas attract our focus regarding this particular organization.

The organization itself is one area that is affected by global logistics. The effect of carrying out international logistics is seen in the multicultural nature of employees (Mangan & Lalwani, 2016). Conducting trade in different countries has led the organization to seek partners in foreign regions. The adequate understanding of the distribution movements of the foreign nations is the key reason why the organization has hired workers from different countries.  Therefore, foreign employees’ experience with their countries has allowed the organization to attain efficient product and service delivery. Global logistics has consequently led to the organization being multicolored.

Another impact of global logistics in the firm is seen in its effect on the company’s finances. One aspect of the financial impact is seen in variations in the foreign exchange rate. The organization’s profits from different nations have always fluctuated depending on our currencies’ performance against those of their countries. Likewise, trade regulations in other nations vary. For instance, the organization receives little profits from governments with tougher measures on the amount of profit to be repatriated back. Countries with high operating expenses such as employee wage and equipment hire make the organization incur more costs (Lam et al. 2019).
