At my current station, I witnessed firsthand how the Emergency Department Unit Nurse Manager transformational leadership impacted the nurse intent to stay. The ED Unit head embodied the four dimensions of transformational leadership of individualized consideration, idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, and inspirational motivation.
