Syllabus Review Comprehensive Nursing paper example
A syllabus is a crucial tool when beginning one’s studies as it outlines essential information about a course, including the topics to be studied, recommended reading materials, assignments, tests, and examination dates (Rumore, 2016). I have carefully reviewed the Counseling and Psychotherapy course syllabus to remain at par with the course’s requirements and guidelines. One thing I have learned from the syllabus is the program outcomes. For instance, I am expected to demonstrate mastery of advanced practice through critical thinking and holistic caring upon completing the program. Besides, I am expected to demonstrate a strong ability to analyze and apply scientific literature for selected diagnoses and treatment plans. Lastly, I am expected to apply appropriate ethical principles to manage and evaluate specific health care concerns. Among other requirements and guidelines, the syllabus provides an in-depth outline of the course information, objectives, and timeline for various learning activities crucial to the program.
