Appropriateness for Dx: <\/strong>The AUDIT is an appropriate screening tool for individuals with alcohol use disorders (AUD). The AUDIT is widely used in various countries and different languages as a screening tool for potentially risky, harmful, or hazardous drinking patterns underlined by the DSM-V criteria (Moehring et al., 2019). Significantly, the AUDIT has shown high appropriateness as a screening tool for alcohol used dependence (Meneses-Gaya et al., 2009). Response to Therapy\/Treatment:<\/strong> The AUDIT has a more robust response to changes in alcohol use patterns in individuals.
