Summary of strengths:
My strengths include recognizing clinical signs and symptoms of psychiatric illness. I have had many interactions with psychiatric patients working in the emergency department. My other strengths include maintaining a professional boundaries and therapeutic relationships with clients and staff. I do approach clients in a non-judgmental manner seeing every client as a unique case. Ethically I work within the scope of practice to offer competent and compassionate care. |

I plan to improve in the following areas during this practicum experience. Improve in performing a mental examination and conducting a comprehensive history and physical examination. Improve in developing differential diagnosis. I plan to perform and interpret a psychosocial assessment and family psychiatric history. |
